HAPPY EARTH DAY 2010

A lover of all things eclectic.

Tomorrow is the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day! People will be reducing, reusing and recycling all day long. There will be the wearing of blue and green, the riding of bicycles and the planting of trees. I think I’ll celebrate in my customary fashion…cupcake style!

Silly? Yes. Pertinent? Yes. I drew a picture and added it to the post. The “I’m with stupid” is not mine but I have no idea in regards to original credit. I was looking for a subject tonight. This topic kinda hit home in two categories. Our sunsets on earth are fleeting. Spending them together; even more so. The computer dialogue… no comment.

I am sure you can take ‘time out’ from being a computer geek to walk in the sunset holding hands with the Star Wars, Monty Python junkie . . . Go on – I dare ya!

Happy Earth day to you too! Never heard of it until I saw the moodle on Google :-)

Eric…I think Kiwi dared you! Well….I double dog dare you. :) I can’t help but notice the absents of arms on your caricature! Could this be the subconscious mind yearning to be at the computer typing away at code? Hmmmm?

Kiwi – I’d like to think of myself as more of a Star Wars aficionado and a Monty Python connoisseur! *giggle snort*

Aiko- Sadly Americans are colossal wasters of natural resources and SHOULD be celebrating Earth Day everyday. Almost every other country has embraced conservation of our fragile eco system except Americans with our styrofoam drinking cups and gas guzzling SUVs. I guess the Country that does it the least celebrates it the most! Very Murphy’s Law wouldn’t you say?

More of an oxymoron than a Murphy’s Law dear but your point is absolutely correct. There is probably a better word for it but American Conservation fits right in with Civil War and Military Intelligence.

@ Desiree “…… gas guzzling SUVs”

You’re absolutely right. But … those SUVs still are VERY nice cars.
