Attained: 10/30/10 "After achieving our Platinum award on 2010-10-11 the FlashbyZ web site has now achieved the O.N.Z.C.D.A Site of the Month award. Inspired by his beloved Possum Kingdom and wanting to share that beauty with his netizens, FlashbyZ provides a small taste of life at Possum Kingdom Lake through an online PHP driven gallery where you will fall in love with the family centered community and friendly atmosphere. But just what is Possum Kingdom? The site owner states “For centuries the raging Brazos River has cut its way through the Palo Pinto Mountains. In the 1940's the river was dammed up to form a huge Lake nestled within the dramatic North Texas hill country and the natural views are absolutely spectacular! The Lake is one of the clearest in all of Texas and as a result it is a favorite spot for inland scuba diving and boating. Year around activities include fishing, camping, hiking, golf, mountain bikes and horseback riding.” Site visitors can experience life around Possum Kingdom through the display of approximately 110 fantastic images in the Gallery and those of us who have a need for a 'learning curve' to gain new site design skills will be thankful for the many articles and “how-to's” discussing the many aspects of dynamic web design. Attained: 03/30/08 "This site is a great showcase for Possum Kingdom
Lake. The pictures are excellent in the gallery and great to view.
Interesting articles that are well thought out and presented. The
design of the site is well done and graphics that go well with the
design. The navigation brings the viewers through the site with ease.
I like the fact it was designed with the handicapped in mind. As stated
on site: "It utilizes PHP for its motor, CSS for layout (goodbye tables
and hello accessibility)". It sure does and very well done indeed!
